2022 USWDGC Halo Star Tern

Help fundraise for the 2022 US Women’s Disc Golf Championships and enjoy one of the easiest to throw distance drivers with this special Innova Halo Star Tern.

More about the Innova Tern: The Tern is a fast slightly understable disc that is designed for long shot shaping throws. What’s great about the Tern, is that you don’t have to have incredible power to throw it far. Just throw it flat and its glide and natural turn will take it from there. Halo discs have slightly more stability and glide. You can expect that from the Innova Halo Tern as well.

More about the Event: The best women disc golfers in the world will travel to Madison, Wisconsin June 30 - July 3 for the 23rd US Women’s Disc Golf Championships. Last year in California, Paige Pierce had a convincing 13 stroke victory. This year, will Kristin Tattar, Catrina Allen, Hailey King, or any of the other top golfers be able to wrestle the US Women’s title from her grasp?

More about the design: The tern bird is known for its graceful flight. Innova East Art Director Matt Peckham definitely picked up on that and was able to capture the Tern weaving through the clouds and over the distinctive Wisconsin State Capital building. He thought it appropriate for the Tern to be amid the clouds since the Tern disc is used to bomb drives into the sky.

Golden nugget: Take a close look at the logo Peckham created at the bottom of the disc. Remind you of something? Peckham designed it to favor the Harley-Davidson logo since the popular motorcycle company is also based in Wisconsin.

Tune-in to coverage: If you can’t be in Madison in person, be sure to catch the USWDGC coverage online June 30 - July 3.
