How does the Bullfrog fly?
The Bullfrog flies dead straight with very little float or finish. Off the tee, it holds the line you put it on and doesn’t glide unpredictably past your target. On approach, it offers predictable landings with little ground action. And on putts, it heads straight for the chains without the wobble, dive, or sail that more glide-heavy discs can introduce. It’s a no-nonsense disc that simply does what it’s told.
How does the Bullfrog compare?
Bullfrog vs Aviar ( 2 / 3 / 0 / 1 )
The Aviar has more glide and a slightly softer fade, making it a better option for those who prefer a more traditional putter with gentle float. The Bullfrog, on the other hand, cuts the glide and flies more like a dart — perfect for players who want to limit travel beyond the basket.
Bullfrog vs Nova ( 2 / 3 / 0 / 0 )
The Nova is ultra-straight with no fade and lots of glide, often floating past your target if not released perfectly. The Bullfrog’s lower glide and touch of fade make it a more controllable choice, especially in windy situations or tight greens.
Bullfrog vs Rhyno ( 2 / 1 / 0 / 3 )
The Rhyno is more overstable with a significantly stronger fade. It’s great for hyzer putts or battling heavy wind, but not ideal for dead-straight lines. The Bullfrog offers a more neutral flight with better control for flat or slight anhyzer lines.
Bullfrog vs Pig ( 4 / 1 / 0 / 3 )
The Pig is beefy and often used for utility shots and forehand approaches. It’s far more overstable than the Bullfrog. If you want a putting putter with minimal ground play but don’t need the extreme overstability, the Bullfrog is a better match.
Why the Bullfrog Belongs in Your Bag
The Bullfrog fills a unique niche as a low-glide, laser-straight putter that behaves predictably in all conditions. It’s especially valuable when you want your disc to sit down immediately without the risk of a long comeback putt. Whether you're a spin putter, a fan of flat tops, or someone who wants absolute control on approaches, the Bullfrog delivers simplicity and precision.
