More about this special day: Earlier this year, Rock Hill Mayor John Gettys proclaimed that October 8, 2025, would hereby be recognized as World Disc Golf Hall of Fame Day in the city. Given that Rock Hill is a major disc golf destination, the home of the USDGC for 27 years, and the host of the annual World Disc Golf Hall of Fame induction ceremony, this proclamation must’ve have been an easy decision.
