More about the design: Can you picture it? Our Roc fighter pilot in a dog fight with the notorious Red Baron. As you may have guessed by now, the mythical Roc bird can do anything in our imaginations, even pilot World War I fighter planes, which is what inspired this design.
Using the Roc skull head complete with World War I era headgear as the design focal piece, Marm O. Set then surrounded it with radial airplane engines of the day. A self-described, hot-rodder, engines and drawing them accurately, is right up his alley.
More about the Roc: The number one professional mid-range disc. It is very reliable at the high speeds that pros throw. It ages slowly, becoming an excellent slow turning disc as it wears.
Squadron Firebird? Believe it or not, this Roc stamp design actually started out as a Firebird design. However, the more and more we looked at it, this flyboy had to be a Roc. The skull face of the Roc bird has a lived-in, battle-worn feel as if it has just returned from a harrowing mission. When it’s all said and done, Marm O. Set sees a World War I fighter plane ace that even the Red Baron would be scared of.
Get this disc now! We see a lot of discs in the warehouse. However some catch your eye more than others. That’s the case with this 3-Color Roc. It’s something special.
