The Halo Mako3 produces a lot of attention: for one, it’s easy to find in the middle of the fairway. And two, it’s available in beautiful two-tone Halo colors.
**Notice: Halo effect will vary.
How the Mako3 disc feels: The Mako3’s thin rim makes grip and release natural for any sized hands. Dome can range from pretty flat to noticeable.
Mako3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / 0 / 0
How the Mako3 flies: How do you lower your score? Simple. Stay in the fairway. And, no disc does it better than the Mako3. This stable to understable large diameter mid range has a slow and steady speed and hugs the line you lay it on, especially when it’s a straight one. Its ease of use puts control in the hands of every golfer and long-lasting Halo plastic means it will stay in your bag for a very long time.
Halo Star plastic: The unique two-tone injection process results in beautiful, high performing discs with a “Halo” rim that is a distinctly different color than the flight plate. As far as grip and durability, Halo Star exceeds that of Star plastic. They also have slightly more stability and glide than their Star counterparts.
Use the Mako3 for:
Thin fairways
Gentle turnovers
Medium length hzyer flips
Staying out of trouble
How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will see straight flights with a moderate fade at flight’s end, especially in lighter weights. As they become more accustomed to the disc, they will experience an even straighter finish. Advanced players will see a moderate turn soon after breaking it in. As it ages it will become an easy turnover disc.

If you love the feel of the Roc, but still crave maximum overstability, then the Innova Champion RocX3 is meant for you. It’s got double the beef, but can still fly Roc smooth.
How the RocX3 disc feels: It’s built with a low profile and sports the beefiest rim from a Roc related disc. Dome ranges from flat to noticeable. Bead on rim bottom.
RocX3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / 0 / 3.5
How the RocX3 flies: Loaded up with torque resistance, the RocX3 is the ideal candidate for take-no-prisoner blasts backhand or forehand. Give it a whirl and you'll quickly see that it's the most overstable disc in the Roc family tree. Great for headwinds and when you need to harness power.
Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics.
Great for:
Medium length drives with a very overstable finish
Forehand approaches and short drives
Force flex backhands for the power thrower
How will I throw it?: Beginner: We do not recommend this disc to newer players. Intermediate players may have issues controlling this fade heavy disc. Stick to lighter weights or DX plastic. Advanced players will make the most of the RocX3. Full send approved.
