  1. The Ape can handle the raw, primal power of disc golfs biggest arms. Extremely fast and stable, the Ape is a "must have" distance driver for windy conditions and sharp doglegs. Sidearm drivers will learn the Ape is more than capable of standing up to even the most intense torque. The Ape is an outstanding choice for backhand or sidearm throws as well as a variety of niche flex shots. With less high speed turn than a Boss, the Ape is not recommended for players who throw less than 300ft.

  2. Give the course and the competition a real scare with the far flying Innova Blizzard Champion Beast. It’s available in lighter weights so more players can go deep. How the Beast disc feels: Wider rim, but not as wide was the Wraith or Destroyer. Most discs have noticeable dome. Blizzard Beast Flight Numbers: 10 / 5 / -2 / 2 How the Beast flies: Don’t let the name scare you off, the stable to understable Beast is one of the more accessible distance drivers in the Innova stable. A pioneering wide-rimmed driver, the Beast has big glide and moderate fade for smooth ‘S’ shots when thrown anhyzer and is still able to hold a line when needed. Can handle mild to moderate winds. Blizzard Champion plastic: By infusing tightly bound air bubbles into Champion plastic, maximum distance drivers can be made in seriously light plastics – which are much easier for less powerful players to throw far. Part of Innova’s Champion plastic family, Blizzard is among Innova’s most durable plastics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. Great for: Beginners & less powerful players Open hole smashes Clean forehand lines A more understable substitute for a Wraith or Charger How will I throw it?: Beginner: Newer players will have good luck throwing this disc right away. Expect moderate fade at flight’s end, especially in the lightest weights. Intermediate players will really make this disc hum and even see some turnover potential. Advanced players will, in many cases, overpower this disc.

  3. Available in light weights, the Blizzard Champion Destroyer brings the long, aggressive flight of the Destroyer to more players. How it feels: Wide rimmed distance driver that feels as serious as it flies. Flight plate can range from fairly flat to a noticeable dome. Blizzard Destroyer Flight numbers: 12 / 5 / -1 / 3 How the Blizzard Destroyer flies: Boom goes the dynamite. The Destroyer is a very fast, very overstable distance driver usually meant for advanced players. However, in lightweight Blizzard plastic more skill levels are able to control this long range disc. Thrown with the proper amount of power, the Destroyer disc flies straight followed by a slight turn for incredible distance until its noticealbe fade brings it back to the ground. Blizzard plastic: Tightly bound air bubbles help convert overstable discs like the Destroyer into lighter, more accessible drivers. Great for older players and those with less power. A member of the Champion plastic family, Blizzard is among Innova’s most durable plastics. However, it is also among the least grippy plastics. 5. Straight flights are easier than you think with the Innova Champion Atlas, the unique mid range that fuses two different plastics together. How the Champion Atlas feels: In the hand, it has a thin, shallow rim that’s packed with a lot of grip. The flight plate is stiff. Dome ranges from modest to noticeable. Champion Atlas Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / 0 / 1 How the Atlas flies: The Atlas is a neutral flying large diameter mid range disc that’s easy to learn and even easier to fall in love with. Practically any line is within reach of this disc, provided the wind isn’t too severe. The Atlas benefits aren’t limited to the sky either. Its overmold design allows for flat landings in most cases, which limits harsh skips off the fairway. After tree hits, the length of deflections are also minimized. More about Champion Overmold: Innova’s overmold marries two separate plastic pieces together, so you never have to choose between grip and performance. In the case of the Champion Atlas, a grippy Star plastic rim is combined with a firm Champion flight plate. The Atlas features four 'compass points' located on the underside of the disc, which are used for rim molding. There’s no need to question the disc's durability because the two materials are welded together.  The Champion Atlas flies more stable than the Star edition. Great for: Straight medium length drives and approaches Touch hyzer and anhyzer forehands Immediate hyzer flips One-disc rounds. How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will see straight flights with a moderate fade at flight’s end, especially in lighter weights. Lots of versatility available here as well. Advanced players will experience straight to turnover flights from the get-go, but may overpower the disc on occasion.

  6. Colossus is our first speed 14 driver. Although it has a wide rim, it is also relatively easy to hold and throw both backhand and forehand. If you've wanted to throw a really fast driver, but couldn't quite handle the wide rim, throw the Colossus.
