GStar Racer Flight numbers: 12 / 6 / -1 / 2 How it flies: ‘Seasoned Destroyer’ is something you hear a bunch when it comes to the Racer. After a flat release, watch it speed down the fairway. But instead of it fading hard like a Destroyer, the Racer stays pretty straight, especially for average arms. Eventually the fade kicks in, but not before it’s sailed a long way. Another term you hear a lot with the Racer is glide. This disc just doesn’t want to come back to the ground. Forehand: Give it a shot. Flat release results in a modest turnover flight that finds fade at the end. A moderate hyzer release produces hzyer flip flight. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. Great choice for cold or wet weather rounds. Intermediates will experience straight, long flights. Advanced level players will be able to make the big ‘S’ flight and hzyer flips look routine, but may overpower it on occasion.

The XD has a low profile, thin rim which promotes a secure grip and an easy, natural release. These features combined with straight flight characteristics make the XD an easy to throw and control disc.
