  1. Introducing a unique and original plastic type in the Innova Discs lineup, the all-new SOFT PRO. As the mellowest, most flexible putter plastic we’ve made so far, our new SOFT PRO is easy to grip and easy to spin, for a consistent, accurate release, even in the wet and cold. Not only is our new SOFT PRO’s velvety finish extra comfortable in the hand, but it also grabs the chains like no other. At 3 times softer than R-Pro and 5 times softer than KC, the extra give in our new SOFT PRO helps absorb chain swing to minimize bounce backs and find the bottom of the tray more often. The Rhyno is an overstable putt and approach disc that can handle headwinds. Great for players with lots of throwing power as the Rhyno stops on a dime and stays close to the basket. It is a must have disc for short to medium up shots and putting into the wind.

  3. The Birdie is a slow, straight flyer with our Thumtrac™ grip for a sure release. It has great chain catching ability. Great for approach shots, as it flies straight and slow, start to finish. It is one of our best “go for it” discs as it doesn’t go far past the basket on misses, and stays put when it hits the ground. A good disc for those players making the conversion from flat edged disc sports: Catch, Ultimate, Freestyle, etc.

What is the Innova Thumtrac®? Instead of a smooth, uniform surface across the entire flight plate (or top), Thumtrac discs, mostly seen in DX or Pro plastic, have a section near the upper rim that is slightly raised.

The patented feature provides a more secure grip. More prevalent in discs released in the in the 1990’s (Think Birdie, Rhyno, Wolf), it’s still used for modern day discs like the Pig (2008) and the Animal (2020).
