- The Philo Brathwaite Star Destroyer routinely turns unlikely shots into your personal web gems. How this batch of Star Destroyers feel: Noticeable dome. More about the player: Nowadays most know Philo Brathwaite for his fun and engaging commentary for pro tour coverage. Though Brathwaite has slowed down his competitive play the last few years, he has shown he can still hang with the best like when he won the US Masters in 2023. And, you can’t mention Brathwaite without mentioning his Albatross at the 2016 Beaver State Fling (Thrown with a Destroyer). He amazingly finished the 850-foot par 5 in only 2 throws. And, it was caught on tape during Central Coast Disc Golf’s coverage. More about the disc: The Destroyer is a very fast, very overstable distance driver meant for advanced players. Thrown with the proper amount of power, the Destroyer disc flies straight followed by a slight turn for incredible distance until its mighty fade brings it back to the ground. Why only available in 165-169 grams? Because that’s the weight of the Destroyer that landed the Albatross. Destroyer Flight Numbers: 12 / 5 / -1 / 3Close
- Gregg Barsby throws his Eagles for just about anything. His Innova Proto Glow Champion Eagle is just as versatile. Give it a ride. It’ll stay with you for a long time. How this batch of Proto Glow Champion Eagle feel: Moderate dome. Softer Glow plastic feel. More about the player: Gregg Barsby’s biggest win came at the 2018 World Championships. But he might be just as well known for his entertaining play and infectious personality. It’s not uncommon for the popular player to strike up conversations with fans after rounds. A veteran of the pro scene for more than 20 years, Barsby has a number of other wins and feats including the unforgettable roller ace at the Masters Cup in 2009. More about the disc: The Eagle X is the original, professional level overstable fairway driver. Great option for power players looking to carve smooth lines forehand or backhand with steady fade. Eagle Flight Numbers: 7 / 4 / -1 / 3Close
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.M- Midrange4Speed2Glide1Turn3FadeGrip like no other and super flexible, the Innova Soft Pro Toro is a delight to hold and throw. How it feels: A beadless and small diameter disc, the Toro, has the low profile and comfortable feel of a Rat. However, the rim of the Toro is much beefier. Most are pretty flat. Innova Toro Flight numbers: 4 / 2 / 1 / 3 How the Toro flies: The Toro was built to handle anything you put on it for short to medium length backhand or forehand shots. “Massive torque resistance,” is how Innova co-founder and disc inventor Dave Dunipace describes the Toro’s flight, which in layman’s terms means it’s an ox of a disc. Soft Pro plastic: This plastic is so flexy and gummy is Gumby is jealous (remember him?). Best in terms of grip for all Innova plastics, but among our least durable plastics. Ideal for cold and wet rounds. Grabs chains better too. The Toro is great for: Brute force medium length forehand and backhand drives and approaches. Headwind shots without a second thought. Slow-panning anhyzers. How will I throw it?: Beginners: We don’t recommend this disc for newer players. Intermediate players will see fairly straight mid length shots followed by heavy fade. They should stick to lighter weights unless they’ve already got a cannon for an arm. Advanced players have the green light to put everything they have on this disc and still count on a strong fade finish.Close

Leave no room for doubt by throwing the Innova IT, the understable fairway driver in Star plastic that’s round ready right out of the box. What break-in time? Other understable discs, require beat-in time to achieve the desired turnover flight. Not the case here. IT is ready to fill that flippy spot from throw one.Star IT disc Flight Numbers: 7 / 6 / -2 / 1What IT is: A finesse fairway driver similar to a beat-in Leopard or Roadrunner that’s big on glide, turn, and usability. What IT is NOT: A beefy driver you will only use for specialized shots and will take months to break-in.Kinds of shots IT excels at: Turnovers that stay turned (IT’s turn is gentler than discs like the Mamba)Effortless Hyzer FlipsTunnel shots / Tight alleyways / Tough to hit gapsStandstill shotsRollersPoint and ShootThe IT disc was built for glide and ease of use. The underside of the rim is more rounded than other Innova fairway drivers and the top has a healthy amount of dome.Who should throw IT?Intermediate to advanced players looking for a dependably understable disc.Older players looking to regain that deft touch.Women and newer players in search of an easy to throw sharp shooter. Why you should buy this disc: If you are looking to make silky smooth anhyzers and hzyer flips – IT is all you need.Close
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.P- Putt & Approach2Speed3Glide0Turn0FadeIf the Aviar and Polecat had a child, its name would be Xero. Stable, straight, and true, the Innova Xero is a perfect ten when it comes to dialing-in putts and threading your way to the green. Xero to Chains in Seconds Flat! The medium profile Xero has a similar look to an Aviar, but with a more compact feel and rounded rim that allows you to really sling this disc straight into the basket. For approach shots, this Innova putter with a bead on the rim behaves closely to a Polecat with its 0 glide and 0 fade. Watching this disc hyzer flip to straight is a thing of beauty. And anhyzer shots are just as pretty. It just hums along and does its thing. Mild conditions or in the woods are where this disc really shines. Choose Xero When it comes to Innova Putters, there are several to choose from, but make sure you put the Innova Xero high on your list.Close
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.D- Distance Driver10Speed5Glide-2Turn2FadeGive the course and the competition a real scare with the far flying Innova Blizzard Champion Beast. It’s available in lighter weights so more players can go deep. How the Beast disc feels: Wider rim, but not as wide was the Wraith or Destroyer. Most discs have noticeable dome. Blizzard Beast Flight Numbers: 10 / 5 / -2 / 2 How the Beast flies: Don’t let the name scare you off, the stable to understable Beast is one of the more accessible distance drivers in the Innova stable. A pioneering wide-rimmed driver, the Beast has big glide and moderate fade for smooth ‘S’ shots when thrown anhyzer and is still able to hold a line when needed. Can handle mild to moderate winds. Blizzard Champion plastic: By infusing tightly bound air bubbles into Champion plastic, maximum distance drivers can be made in seriously light plastics – which are much easier for less powerful players to throw far. Part of Innova’s Champion plastic family, Blizzard is among Innova’s most durable plastics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. Great for: Beginners & less powerful players Open hole smashes Clean forehand lines A more understable substitute for a Wraith or Charger How will I throw it?: Beginner: Newer players will have good luck throwing this disc right away. Expect moderate fade at flight’s end, especially in the lightest weights. Intermediate players will really make this disc hum and even see some turnover potential. Advanced players will, in many cases, overpower this disc.Close
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.M- Midrange5Speed5Glide0Turn0FadeFairways don't seem so tight when you have the straight flying Innova Champion Mako3 – the incredibly useful mid range disc that’ll take over your bag. How the Mako3 disc feels: The Mako3’s thin rim makes grip and release natural for any sized hands. And, after only a few throws your body will instinctively reach for it. Dome can range from pretty flat to noticeable. Champion Mako3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / 0 / 0 How the Mako3 flies: The Mako3 is a neutral flying large diameter mid range disc, and it is perhaps the easiest disc to fly straight from the get-go. It’s got excellent glide and minimal fade at flight’s end. For moderate conditions, especially in the woods, the Mako3 can easily be your most used disc for medium length drives and approaches. Very versatile, especially for any must-hit-gap shot. Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. Great for: Consistently straight medium length drives and approaches Immediate hyzer flips One-disc rounds. How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will see straight flights with a moderate fade at flight’s end. As they become more accustomed to the disc, they will experience an even straighter finish. Advanced players will see very straight flights from the start and as it ages it will become more and more of a turnover disc.Close
