  1. The Innova Star Racer has a knack for chasing down birdies. Watch em’ pile up after throwing this distance driver that’s got speed and super-sized glide. How the Star Racer feels: Wider rim, similar in size to the Tern. Signature feature has to be the nose’s outer bead. Disc ranges from minimal to noticeable dome. Star Racer Flight numbers: 12 / 6 / -1 / 2 How it flies: ‘Seasoned Destroyer’ is something you hear a bunch when it comes to the Racer. After a flat release, watch it speed down the fairway. But instead of it fading hard like a Destroyer, the Racer stays pretty straight, especially for average arms. Eventually the fade kicks in, but not before it’s sailed a long way. Another term you hear a lot with the Racer is glide. This disc just doesn’t want to come back to the ground. Forehand: Give it a shot. Flat release results in a modest turnover flight that finds fade at the end. A moderate hyzer release produces hzyer flip flight. Star plastic: If you take the best qualities of all of Innova’s plastics and combine them into one plastic, you get the Star line. Grip. Performance. Durability. It’s all included in Star plastic. Though not as overstable as Champion, it still has enough bite to handle your full-send heaves. It’s the preferred plastic for drivers. The Racer is great for: When you want Destroyer performance, but without Destroyer beef. When you need that 10 extra feet of glide Predictable distance and fade Long hyzers How will I throw it? In lighter weights, beginners and intermediate players can see some real dividends. Intermediates will experience straight, long flights. Advanced level players will be able to make the big ‘S’ flight and hzyer flips look routine, but may overpower it on occasion.

  2. Consider the Innova Star Gorgon – an easy throwing, understable distance driver – your shield against hideous bogey monsters. How the Star Gorgon feels: Easy to grip and release. Rim is thinner than other distance drivers and its underside is also flatter. All in all, it’s a distance driver in fairway driver clothing. Most have noticeable dome. Star Gorgon Flight numbers: 10 / 6 / -2 / 1 How it flies: With a flat release, amid mild conditions, most players will find the Gorgon travels smoothly (300 to 350+) with an easy turn and a fade that’s present, but not overly so. The disc facilitates any release angle including anhyzers that seem to sail forever. Great as a distance gainer for less powerful throwers. “It's similar to a speed 10 version of the Leopard3 or Hawkeye. Very controllable fairway driver like flight in a distance driver,” said Innova General Manager Kobyn Dunipace. Forehand: For those with moderate forehand power, the Gorgon will fit right in your bag with long, straight flights with modest turn. Those with noticeable power will find it flippy. The Gorgon is great for: When you want distance driver speed but not distance driver fade Throwing anhyzers that don’t fight against you Players that don’t like super wide rims Those needing a longer fairway driver Lengthy low ceiling shots How will I throw it? In lighter weights, this disc could come in handy for beginners looking to tack on distance. Intermediate players will really benefit from this disc’s turning ease. For advance or power throwers, the Gorgon would likely be limited to specific turnover situations.

  3. The Innova Charger is a slightly overstable maximum distance driver that unloads a big hit on the fairway. At a blistering 13 speed, it separates itself from the herd in a hurry! How it feels: Noticeable dome. Wide rim in premium Star plastic provides lots of prime mutton to grip.Innova Charger Flight numbers:  13 / 5 / -1 / 2How the Charger flies: During mild and tailwind conditions you’ll experience a very fast, straight flight, followed by slight turn, and ending with a hefty fade. Go ahead and force it anhyzer. It will still come out. Watch the Charger valiantly fight back during medium-force headwind shots. Overall, it’s a very tightly tuned disc. For you sidearm specialists, give it a go. Put a little stank on it without the worry of a cut roll. What it can do for your game: Regain your confidence in a full sendRely on it equally for backhand and forehand bombsHow will I throw it? The Charger is designed for advanced skilled players. Average caliber arms will benefit from long flights with formidable fade out of the box. And expect even longer flights once it beats in. Big arms will be able to use this disc as a utility distance driver from the get-go.Great for: Long hzyer shotsBig forced anhyzersSidearm specialistsSkip shotsPick up an Innova Charger if … A beat-in Shryke turns over too easily, but you’re not interested in the extra beef of a Destroyer or Boss.

  4. If the finesse game is not for you, just bulldoze your way to the green with the Innova Toro – the great feeling overstable mid range that’s sure to win-over power players in any arena. Olé! Olé! How this batch feels: A beadless and small diameter disc, the Toro, has the low profile and comfortable feel of a Rat. However, the Rim of the Toro is much beefier, as if it’s been hitting the gym. Innova Toro Flight numbers: 4 / 2 / 1 / 3 We haven’t had a disc with a High Speed Turn of +1 since the Viper was on the shelf. How it flies: Developed with the input of power player Calvin Heimburg, the Toro was built to handle anything you put on it for short to medium length back hand or forehand shots. “Massive torque resistance,” is how Innova co-founder and disc inventor Dave Dunipace describes the Toro’s flight, which in layman’s terms means it’s an ox of a disc. Star plastic: If you take the best qualities of all of Innova’s plastics and combine them into one plastic, you get the Star line. All skill levels. Pros, especially pack their bag with Star plastic. Best combination of grip, durability and performance.  Great for: Brute force medium length forehand and backhand drives and approaches. Headwind shots without a second thought. Short-distance S-curves. Slow-panning anhyzers. How will I throw it? Experienced players with big-time power will find an immediate spot for the Toro. Those with average and less power will use it for specific shots like the forehand (especially if other mid range discs turn over) or days with heavy winds.

  5. If the Aviar and Polecat had a child, its name would be Xero. Stable, straight, and true, the Innova Xero is a perfect ten when it comes to dialing-in putts and threading your way to the green. Xero to Chains in Seconds Flat! The medium profile Xero has a similar look to an Aviar, but with a more compact feel and rounded rim that allows you to really sling this disc straight into the basket. For approach shots, this Innova putter with a bead on the rim behaves closely to a Polecat with its 0 glide and 0 fade. Watching this disc hyzer flip to straight is a thing of beauty. And anhyzer shots are just as pretty. It just hums along and does its thing. Mild conditions or in the woods are where this disc really shines. Choose Xero When it comes to Innova Putters, there are several to choose from, but make sure you put the Innova Xero high on your list.

  6. The Mamba has more high speed turn than any of our long range drivers, so throwing into a headwind is not recommended. For those with less driving speed, it will add distance. For the medium armed crowd, it will shape long lines for turnovers and straight shots, as well as hyzer flips and even big rolls.

  7. Reach for the GStar Destroyer if you want a Destroyer that’s grippy, flexy, and easier to control than Destroyers in other plastics. How it feels: Wide rimmed distance driver that feels as serious as it flies. Flight plate can range from fairly flat to a noticeable dome. GStar Destroyer Flight numbers: 12 / 5 / -1 / 3 How the Destroyer flies: Boom goes the dynamite. The Destroyer is a very fast, very overstable distance driver meant for advanced players. Thrown with the proper amount of power, the Destroyer disc flies straight followed by a slight turn for incredible distance until its mighty fade brings it back to the ground. It has no problems with headwinds and once beat in, you can expect even greater distance. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. It’s an all-season plastic but it really shines in wet and cold seasons. As far as durability, it ranks among our longest lasting plastics. Try the GStar Destroyer! Can’t handle the extreme fade of the Champion of Star Destroyer? The GStar Destoryer is less overstable than other premium plastics. The GStar Destroyer is great for: Full Send backhand or forehand shots for players with average power. Big hyzer and flex shots Overhand huks Inclement weather Click here to learn more about the Destroyer.

  11. The Aviar3 has the same comfortable grip you'd expect in an Aviar putter but with a distinctive flat top. In the hand you feel the lower profile. It feels fast. Even better, it can handle the speed. Throw the Aviar3 with power, backhand or forehand, and you can trust it to drop on target.
