  2. A notch faster than the revered Roc, the Innova DX Roc3 is an overstable mid range that excels at controlled approaches and medium length drives. How the Roc3 disc feels: Built with a lower profile, the Roc3 has a fairly beefy rim for a mid range. Dome can range from flat to modest. Roc3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / 0 / 3 How the Roc3 flies: The Roc3 is an overstable large diameter mid range that’s a good call in just about any situation. It can hold your line even in headwinds and has enough fade to land where desired. Compared to the Roc, it has a touch more speed and overstability. The Difference of DX Mid’s: For mid range discs, many players start with the very affordable DX plastic and never stop. Its ample, all-weather grip and quick break-in allow for an immediate impact. DX Plastic is among Innova’s most understable plastics. Great for: Medium length drives with an overstable finish Forehand approaches Force flex backhands How will I throw it?: Beginner: Not our first choice for newer players. Its 3 fade will be too much. Intermediate to Advanced players with average+ power will get the most use out of this beefy mid range disc. However those with less power will find success in lighter weights for shots that call for substantial fade.

  7. The Dart is a small diameter putter with a straight flight. The Dart is especially good for long range putts and go-for shots. It has a flight similar to our Aviar Putt & Approach but has less low speed fade and a little more range. The nice thing about this disc, besides the improved grip, is that it holds the line for a long time.

  10. If you’re a power player, the Champion Eagle really allows you to sink your claws into the course. Trust it with backhand or forehand throws when there’s a line that has to be hit. How it feels: Classic fairway driver feel with smaller rim. Most stock Eagles are available in the X mold, which has a small bead along rim. Champion Eagle Flight numbers: 7 / 4 / -1 / 3 Flight Path: The Eagle is an overstable fairway driver, that’s a notch less overstable than the Firebird. It can handle power and still remain true to the line it was thrown upon. Expect a noticeable fade with every throw long into its life. It’s a favorite among top pros for its day in, day out reliability and outstanding longevity, especially in premium plastics. Champion plastic: Provides the best durability of all Innova plastics and is among the most overstable as well. Champion’s main drawback is its grip in inclement weather. The Champion Eagle is great for: Backhand or Forehand power drives A trusty beat-in driver Headwinds Flex shots
