The Philo Brathwaite Star Destroyer routinely turns unlikely shots into your personal web gems. How this batch of Star Destroyers feel: Noticeable dome. More about the player: Nowadays most know Philo Brathwaite for his  fun and engaging commentary for pro tour coverage. Though Brathwaite has slowed down his competitive play the last few years, he has shown he can still hang with the best like when he won the US Masters in 2023. And, you can’t mention Brathwaite without mentioning his Albatross at the 2016 Beaver State Fling (Thrown with a Destroyer). He amazingly finished the 850-foot par 5 in only 2 throws. And, it was caught on tape during Central Coast Disc Golf’s coverage.  More about the disc: The Destroyer is a very fast, very overstable distance driver meant for advanced players. Thrown with the proper amount of power, the Destroyer disc flies straight followed by a slight turn for incredible distance until its mighty fade brings it back to the ground. The Innova Champion Hawg, an overstable sausage-roll-of-an-approach-disc, likes to scream “Wee-Wee-Wee” all the way to the basket. **Limited Run of Out of Production Disc How the Hawg feels: Similar feel to a Pig, however the Hawg’s convex lower rim gives the rim a more rounded feel. Another term you hear a lot with the Racer is glide. This disc just doesn’t want to come back to the ground. Forehand: Give it a shot. Flat release results in a modest turnover flight that finds fade at the end. A moderate hyzer release produces hzyer flip flight. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. Great choice for cold or wet weather rounds. How the Rollo disc feels: Slight rim with small bead at rim’s underside. It’s like a cross between a Stingray and a Wombat3. Dome can range from fairly flat to noticeable. Rollo Flight Numbers: 5 / 6 / -4 / 1 How the Rollo flies: The Rollo is a very understable large diameter mid range disc that’s designed to roll for most skill levels. Not only does this disc roll with ease, it excels at hyzer flips and as a late turning disc (Just apply ample hzyer and you’re golden).
