Players have asked for a forehand-specific approach disc and we’ve responded. Meet the Innova Rat. It’s a low-profile, beadless mid-range that flies fast out of the hand. Add the flat top and the Rat could be the most comfortable sidearm approach disc around. Rip it forehand and it’ll fly straight with a predictable fade at the tail end. The backhand grip feels just as good with a flight just as predictable. Bonus: It’s a good option for headwind approach shots.

The TeeBird3 represents the evolution of the TeeBird. Many people have described a lot of discs as a "faster TeeBird", but this is the real deal. The flat flight plate promotes speed while reducing glide, effectively producing consistent, accurate flights. This is a point and shoot, target specific fairway driver.

The Innova Star TL3 makes following the straight and narrow easier than you thought possible. Plus, its boosted speed brings more landing zones and greens within reach. How it feels: Slender fairway style rim. Lower profile than TeeBird. Most have at least a modest amount of dome. Star TL3 Flight numbers: 8 / 4 / -1 / 1 How the TL3 flies: Situated smack dab in the middle of our flight charts (which is stable and straight territory), the Star TL3 is a no fuss fairway machine. It’s got more speed than the likes of a Leopard or its cousin, the TL. But, when it comes to glide, it’s got a notch less than other Innova fairway flyers, making it a line driver that doesn’t overshoot. Star plastic: If you take the best qualities of all of Innova’s plastics and combine them into one plastic, you get the Star line. Best combination of grip, durability and performance. Star plastic is typically less overstable than Champion or Halo Star plastic. The Star TL3 is great for: Straight-laced drives Controlled turnovers Finesse forehands 300-foot+ Safe shots How will I throw it?: Beginners will see moderate hyzer finishes while  intermediate and advanced players will see the most benefit from this disc. Lots of lines to be carved here, even some technical forehand lines.

The Wombat3 mid-range feels great in the hand and is easy to throw. The VTech rim and lower profile adds extra torque resistance, great for sidearm throws. Straight shots still go straight while turnovers stay turned with a gentle landing.

The Shryke is an easy to throw, very long range driver for a wide variety of players. A mild high speed turn puts the Shryke in glide mode, which along with its high aerodynamic speed, give it incredible distance. The low speed fade is also mild, which makes it easy to keep on the fairway. The Shryke is similar to our popular Tern but faster and slightly more high speed stable.

The Colossus is a max distance driver with predictable high speed turn and reliable fade. Although it has a wide rim, it is also relatively easy to hold and throw both backhand and forehand. If you've wanted to throw a really fast driver, but couldn't quite handle the wide rim, try the Colossus.

If you’re looking for more than just a glimmer of hope for your distance game, it’s time to pack the sparkly and very overstable Innova Metal Flake Champion Destroyer. How it feels: Wide rimmed distance driver that feels as serious as it flies. Flight plate can range from fairly flat to a noticeable dome. Metal Flake Champion Destroyer Flight numbers: 12 / 5 / -1 / 3 How the Destroyer flies: Boom goes the dynamite. The Destroyer is a very fast, very overstable distance driver meant for advanced players. Thrown with the proper amount of power, the Destroyer disc flies straight followed by a slight turn for incredible distance until its mighty fade brings it back to the ground. It has no problems with headwinds and once beat in, you can expect even greater distance. Metal Flake Champion is a part of Innova’s Champion plastic family, which is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Along with that familiar see-through quality, Metal Flake Champion contains hundreds of tiny, sparkly metal flakes inside each disc. However, like other Champion plastics, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. Metal Flake Champion Destroyers are considered to be the most overstable stock (widely available) Destroyer.
