  1. Obstacles seems to wither away with the Rasmus Saukkoriipi Proto Glow Champion Toro from Innova. How this batch of Proto Glow Champion Toro feels: Flat. Softer feel. 2. Get the birdie party stared right with Kevin Jones’ Innova Luster Champion Max. This disc really knows how to lay a beat … down. How this batch of Luster Max feels: Minimal dome. Handy Luster grip. More about the player: Already a well known name on tour, Jones joined Team Innova midway through the 2024 season, bringing his podium experience and clutch play. Last year, he had a top five finish at the Ledgestone, but he’s probably best known for his 2020 DGPT Championship win. Off the course, he Rocs the house with his DJ skills (hence the stereo themed stamp). More about the disc: With a fade of 5 (the most for an Innova disc) and a minimal glide of 3, the Star Max is the closest you can come to throwing a PDGA approved cinder block. No matter how you throw it, it will fade a way to fade. Flight Numbers: 11 / 3 / 0 / 5

  3. Do your fingers a favor and purchase the Innova Firefly in Soft Pro Plastic. The plastic is so gummy and grippy your hands will never want to putt with anything else. **Scuffs are more apparent in Soft Pro plastic. This is normal and does not affect the flight or performance of disc. How the Soft Pro Firefly feels: Very Flat. Beadless. Grip to the max. Great for cold weather rounds. Innova Firefly Flight numbers:  2 / 3 / 0 / 1 How the Firefly disc flies: Players have taken to the Firefly so fast because of its stable to overstable short range flight that stays true in a range of conditions. It has a touch more fade than the Aviar, which comes in handy for long range hyzer putts and stable approach shots. Great for: Short Drives Lengthy circle putts Clutch, hard throwing putts.

  4. If the Aviar and Polecat had a child, its name would be Xero. Stable, straight, and true, the Innova Xero is a perfect ten when it comes to dialing-in putts and threading your way to the green. Xero to Chains in Seconds Flat! The medium profile Xero has a similar look to an Aviar, but with a more compact feel and rounded rim that allows you to really sling this disc straight into the basket. For approach shots, this Innova putter with a bead on the rim behaves closely to a Polecat with its 0 glide and 0 fade. Watching this disc hyzer flip to straight is a thing of beauty. And anhyzer shots are just as pretty. It just hums along and does its thing. Mild conditions or in the woods are where this disc really shines. Choose Xero When it comes to Innova Putters, there are several to choose from, but make sure you put the Innova Xero high on your list.

  5. Colossus is our first speed 14 driver. Although it has a wide rim, it is also relatively easy to hold and throw both backhand and forehand. If you've wanted to throw a really fast driver, but couldn't quite handle the wide rim, throw the Colossus.

  6. The Thunderbird comes from strong bloodlines. The stability of a TeeBird with the speed of a Valkyrie; it can be described as a seasoned Firebird with less fade. The Thunderbird is predictable in wind and a great long range placement driver. Pros will appreciate the shot shaping ability of this driver while less experienced players will find a consistent, predictable flight.

  8. Fairways don't seem so tight when you have the straight flying Innova Champion Mako3 – the incredibly useful mid range disc that’ll take over your bag. How the Mako3 disc feels: The Mako3’s thin rim makes grip and release natural for any sized hands. And, after only a few throws your body will instinctively reach for it. Dome can range from pretty flat to noticeable. Champion Mako3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / 0 / 0 How the Mako3 flies: The Mako3 is a neutral flying large diameter mid range disc, and it is perhaps the easiest disc to fly straight from the get-go. It’s got excellent glide and minimal fade at flight’s end. For moderate conditions, especially in the woods, the Mako3 can easily be your most used disc for medium length drives and approaches. Very versatile, especially for any must-hit-gap shot. Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. Great for: Consistently straight medium length drives and approaches Immediate hyzer flips One-disc rounds. How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will see straight flights with a moderate fade at flight’s end. As they become more accustomed to the disc, they will experience an even straighter finish. Advanced players will see very straight flights from the start and as it ages it will become more and more of a turnover disc.
