  1. The Innova XT Aviar3 is a sleek approach disc that’s big on grip and landing within drop-in range. How the XT Aviar3 disc feels: Lower profile design. Comfortable grip without too much room. Dome ranges from pretty flat to noticeable. Aviar3 Flight Numbers: 3 / 2 / 0 / 2 How the Aviar3 flies: The Aviar3 is a stable to slightly overstable approach disc. Steady is a great word to describe its flight, even when ample power is deployed. Backhand or forehand, take your pick - the Aviar3 works equally well for short to midrange lengths. Plus, with its minimal glide, you can trust it to hit your landing zone. XT plastic: Firm with a tacky grip, XT is among Innova best plastics in terms of grip. As far as durability, XT is more durable than DX and most Pro plastics. Great for: Backhand and forehand approaches Long range and headwind putts Short drives off the tee How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will likely see flights with heavy fade at flight’s end. But their lines will straighten out, as they become more accustomed to it. Advanced players will see very straight flights with a hint of turn from approach shots and moderate turn from forehands.

  2. Turn down the overstability of the Firebird a notch with the grippy and flexy Innova GStar Firebird. How it feels: The Firebird’s medium sized rim allows for a comfortable fit for any sized hand. Dome ranges from modest to noticeable. Firebird Flight numbers: 9 / 3 / 0 / 4 Flight Path: Thrown flat with enough power, the overstable Firebird will fly straight for short to medium length drives until its strong fade hooks it to the ground. Excellent control driver for those overpowering other drivers. *A sidearm dominant player approved disc. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. Really shines in wet and cold weather. Not quite as durable as Star, Champion, or Halo, but not as overstable either. The Innova Firebird is great for: Forehand Power drives Big backhand hyzers Powering through Headwinds Overhand hammers and thumbers Skip shots Forced anhyzers once seasoned Learn more about the Firebird here. How will I throw it?: Beginners: We do not recommend this disc to newer players. Intermediate players should be able to handle a GStar Firebird, especially in a lighter weight. Advanced players will make the most of the disc and its array of uses, even for the occasional flex anhyzer.
