If the finesse game is not for you, just bulldoze your way to the green with the Innova Toro – the great feeling overstable mid range that’s sure to win-over power players in any arena. Olé! Olé!
How this batch feels: A beadless and small diameter disc, the Toro, has the low profile and comfortable feel of a Rat. However, the Rim of the Toro is much beefier, as if it’s been hitting the gym.
Innova Toro Flight numbers: 4 / 2 / 1 / 3
We haven’t had a disc with a High Speed Turn of +1 since the Viper was on the shelf.
How it flies: Developed with the input of power player Calvin Heimburg, the Toro was built to handle anything you put on it for short to medium length back hand or forehand shots. “Massive torque resistance,” is how Innova co-founder and disc inventor Dave Dunipace describes the Toro’s flight, which in layman’s terms means it’s an ox of a disc.
Star plastic: If you take the best qualities of all of Innova’s plastics and combine them into one plastic, you get the Star line. All skill levels. Pros, especially pack their bag with Star plastic. Best combination of grip, durability and performance.
Great for:
Brute force medium length forehand and backhand drives and approaches.
Headwind shots without a second thought.
Short-distance S-curves.
Slow-panning anhyzers.
How will I throw it? Experienced players with big-time power will find an immediate spot for the Toro. Those with average and less power will use it for specific shots like the forehand (especially if other mid range discs turn over) or days with heavy winds.
Tired of the wind throwing off your game of toss, Ultimate, or other disc game? Take back control with the Innova INNmold Big Kahuna. Its got extra weight to better handle the wind.
Plus, it comes with a catchy full-color Hawaiian themed design on top, so you’re sure to have the sharpest looking disc on the beach, the park, or wherever you take it.
Weight: 190-200 grams.
***(PDGA Legal for disc golf, but generally not used for competitive play).
More about the Kahuna’s flight: The Innova Big Kahuna flies like an ultimate disc and holds most any line you put on it. The beach and other windy places is where this recreational disc really shines. All skill levels can experience a clean release, balance, and great wind resistance.
Great for:
Camps
Schools
Beach Getaways

The Innova Champion Roc3 is the modern update to the popular Roc mid range disc. Slightly speedier and more overstable than the Roc, the Roc3 can handle just about any situation set before it.
How the Roc3 disc feels: Built with a lower profile, the large diameter Roc3 has a fairly beefy rim for a mid range. Dome can range from flat to modest. Beaded rim bottom.
Roc3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / 0 / 3
How the Roc3 flies: It holds a line in a variety of wind conditions and has a predictable fade, making this an ideal 'Go-To' Mid-Range in almost any situation. Advanced players will love the versatility of this disc while newer players can rely on the consistent finish.
Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics.
Great for:
Medium length drives with an overstable finish
Forehand approaches
Force flex backhands
How will I throw it?: Beginner: We do not recommend this disc to newer players. Intermediate players will see good results in lighter weights or more understable plastics like DX. Advanced players will be able to throw full power and not be disappointed.
