More about the player: Already a well known name on tour, Jones joined Team Innova midway through the 2024 season, bringing his podium experience and clutch play. Last year, he had a top five finish at the Ledgestone, but he’s probably best known for his 2020 DGPT Championship win. Off the course, he Rocs the house with his DJ skills (hence the stereo themed stamp). More about the disc: With a fade of 5 (the most for an Innova disc) and a minimal glide of 3, the Star Max is the closest you can come to throwing a PDGA approved cinder block. At 3 times softer than R-Pro and 5 times softer than KC, the extra give in our new SOFT PRO helps absorb chain swing to minimize bounce backs and find the bottom of the tray more often. The Rhyno is an overstable putt and approach disc that can handle headwinds. Great for players with lots of throwing power as the Rhyno stops on a dime and stays close to the basket. It is a must have disc for short to medium up shots and putting into the wind.

Turn down the overstability of the Firebird a notch with the grippy and flexy Innova GStar Firebird. How it feels: The Firebird’s medium sized rim allows for a comfortable fit for any sized hand. Dome ranges from modest to noticeable. Firebird Flight numbers: 9 / 3 / 0 / 4 Flight Path: Thrown flat with enough power, the overstable Firebird will fly straight for short to medium length drives until its strong fade hooks it to the ground. Excellent control driver for those overpowering other drivers. *A sidearm dominant player approved disc. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. Really shines in wet and cold weather. Not quite as durable as Star, Champion, or Halo, but not as overstable either. How will I throw it?: Beginners: We do not recommend this disc to newer players. Intermediate players should be able to handle a GStar Firebird, especially in a lighter weight. Advanced players will make the most of the disc and its array of uses, even for the occasional flex anhyzer.
