The Innova Star Racer has a knack for chasing down birdies. Watch em’ pile up after throwing this distance driver that’s got speed and super-sized glide. How the Star Racer feels: Wider rim, similar in size to the Tern. Signature feature has to be the nose’s outer bead. Disc ranges from minimal to noticeable dome. Star Racer Flight numbers: 12 / 6 / -1 / 2 How it flies: ‘Seasoned Destroyer’ is something you hear a bunch when it comes to the Racer. After a flat release, watch it speed down the fairway. But instead of it fading hard like a Destroyer, the Racer stays pretty straight, especially for average arms. Eventually the fade kicks in, but not before it’s sailed a long way. Another term you hear a lot with the Racer is glide. This disc just doesn’t want to come back to the ground. Forehand: Give it a shot. Flat release results in a modest turnover flight that finds fade at the end. A moderate hyzer release produces hzyer flip flight. The XD has a low profile, thin rim which promotes a secure grip and an easy, natural release. These features combined with straight flight characteristics make the XD an easy to throw and control disc. The Star Croc is the most overstable midrange to hit the lineup to date. Similar to the Gator, but with an aggressive concave wing and no bead. Previously only featured in the USDGC Pro Shop, the Star Croc is available now as part of a limited production run.

The TeeRex is a fast, stable to overstable power driver with significant glide. Resistance to turn at high speeds means this disc will perform well into the wind. TeeRex offers the flight of the TeeBird with the speed of the Wraith. Recommended for professional level players and those that throw at high speeds. The TeeRex is a great distance disc for windy conditions and sidearm throwers.

The Coyote is a larger diameter mid-range disc with good glide that flies predictably for straight, gentle turnover, or hyzer shots. It holds a soft flight line and has a friendly grip that makes it easy to throw and release. The Coyote is an excellent disc for many types of long or short approach shots, short drives, roller shots, and even short range putts. A great choice for beginners, intermediates and pros using only one disc.

Consider the Innova Star Gorgon – an easy throwing, understable distance driver – your shield against hideous bogey monsters. How the Star Gorgon feels: Easy to grip and release. Rim is thinner than other distance drivers and its underside is also flatter. All in all, it’s a distance driver in fairway driver clothing. Most have noticeable dome. Star Gorgon Flight numbers: 10 / 6 / -2 / 1 How it flies: With a flat release, amid mild conditions, most players will find the Gorgon travels smoothly (300 to 350+) with an easy turn and a fade that’s present, but not overly so.
