  1. The Innova Champion Hawg, an overstable sausage-roll-of-an-approach-disc, likes to scream “Wee-Wee-Wee” all the way to the basket. **Limited Run of Out of Production Disc How the Hawg feels: Similar feel to a Pig, however the Hawg’s convex lower rim gives the rim a more rounded feel. Beaded rim bottom. Hawg Flight Numbers: 2 / 1 / 0 / 3.5 How the Hawg flies: Some wild pigs have got some speed. This Hawg does not. With only a 2 speed rating and barely any glide, all this porker wants to do is hit the hay (or a basket) for a rest. Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. Great for: Short range wind fighter Slow approach for power throwers Forehand darts

  2. The Innova Champion Gorgon achieves monster distance without the scary fade of other distance drivers. How the Gorgon feels: Easy to grip and release. Rim is thinner than other distance drivers and its underside is also flatter. All in all, it’s a distance driver in fairway driver clothing. Most have noticeable dome. Gorgon Flight numbers: 10 / 6 / -2 / 1 How it flies: With a flat release, amid mild conditions, most players will find the Gorgon travels smoothly (300 to 350+) with an easy turn and a fade that’s present, but not overly so. The disc facilitates any release angle including anhyzers that seem to sail forever. Great as a distance gainer for less powerful throwers. “It's similar to a speed 10 version of the Leopard3 or Hawkeye. Very controllable fairway driver like flight in a distance driver,” said Innova General Manager Kobyn Dunipace. Forehand: For those with moderate forehand power, the Gorgon will fit right in your bag with long, straight flights with modest turn. Those with noticeable power will find it flippy. Champion plastic: Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. The Gorgon is great for: When you want distance driver speed but not distance driver fade Throwing anhyzers that don’t fight against you Players that don’t like super wide rims Those needing a longer fairway driver Lengthy low ceiling shots How will I throw it? In lighter weights, this disc could come in handy for beginners looking to tack on distance. Intermediate players will really benefit from this disc’s turning ease. For advance or power throwers, the Gorgon would likely be a turnover driver, but slightly less flippy in Champ plastic.

  3. The InnMold DX Aviar supplies the same trusted putt and approach flight the world has grown accustomed to, but now with a vibrant color design on top. How the Aviar feels: In the hand, the Aviar has a rounded, comfortable rim that leaves plenty of room for your fingers no matter which way you grip it. DX Aviar Flight numbers:  2 / 3 / 0 / 1 How it flies: When the Aviar is thrown at slow speed for putting, it holds the line you put it on with neutral stability. When utilized as a throwing putter the Aviar has surprising torque resistance. When it was released in 1984, it was the first disc designed specifically for putting! 40 years later, it’s still the disc the world turns to for sure-fire lines to the basket. DX Plastic: Its ample, all-weather grip and quick break-in time is incredibly tough to beat. Plus, it’s very affordable. When it comes to stability, it’s the least overstable of Innova plastics (which benefits beginners). InnMold uses a special process in which full color artwork is actually applied during the molding process instead of afterwards like other processes. InnMold allows for a smooth finish that is basically undetectable to the touch. Great for: Predictable Putts Approaches / Short tee shots 1 Disc rounds

  4. The Innova GStar Racer is the distance driver with mega speed and glide that flies like a broken in Destroyer. How the GStar Racer feels: Wider rim, similar in size to the Tern. Signature feature has to be the nose’s outer bead. Disc ranges from minimal to noticeable dome. GStar Racer Flight numbers: 12 / 6 / -1 / 2 How it flies: ‘Seasoned Destroyer’ is something you hear a bunch when it comes to the Racer. After a flat release, watch it speed down the fairway. But instead of it fading hard like a Destroyer, the Racer stays pretty straight, especially for average arms. Eventually the fade kicks in, but not before it’s sailed a long way. Another term you hear a lot with the Racer is glide. This disc just doesn’t want to come back to the ground. Forehand: Give it a shot. Flat release results in a modest turnover flight that finds fade at the end. A moderate hyzer release produces hzyer flip flight. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. Great choice for cold or wet weather rounds. Discs in GStar plastic are typically more understable than their Star our Champion cousins. The Racer is great for: When you want Destroyer performance, but without Destroyer beef. When you need that 10 extra feet of glide Predictable distance and fade Long hyzers How will I throw it? In lighter weights, beginners and intermediate players can see some real dividends, especially in the less overstable GStar plastic. Intermediates will experience straight, long flights. Advanced level players will be able to make the big ‘S’ flight and hzyer flips look routine, but may overpower it on occasion.

  5. The Innova Star Racer has a knack for chasing down birdies. Watch em’ pile up after throwing this distance driver that’s got speed and super-sized glide. How the Star Racer feels: Wider rim, similar in size to the Tern. Signature feature has to be the nose’s outer bead. Disc ranges from minimal to noticeable dome. Star Racer Flight numbers: 12 / 6 / -1 / 2 How it flies: ‘Seasoned Destroyer’ is something you hear a bunch when it comes to the Racer. After a flat release, watch it speed down the fairway. But instead of it fading hard like a Destroyer, the Racer stays pretty straight, especially for average arms. Eventually the fade kicks in, but not before it’s sailed a long way. Flat release results in a modest turnover flight that finds fade at the end. A moderate hyzer release produces hzyer flip flight. Star plastic: If you take the best qualities of all of Innova’s plastics and combine them into one plastic, you get the Star line. Grip. Performance. Durability. It’s all included in Star plastic. Though not as overstable as Champion, it still has enough bite to handle your full-send heaves. It’s the preferred plastic for drivers. The Racer is great for: When you want Destroyer performance, but without Destroyer beef. When you need that 10 extra feet of glide Predictable distance and fade Long hyzers How will I throw it? In lighter weights, beginners and intermediate players can see some real dividends. Intermediates will experience straight, long flights. 8. Consider the Innova Star Gorgon – an easy throwing, understable distance driver – your shield against hideous bogey monsters. How the Star Gorgon feels: Easy to grip and release. Rim is thinner than other distance drivers and its underside is also flatter. All in all, it’s a distance driver in fairway driver clothing. Most have noticeable dome. Star Gorgon Flight numbers: 10 / 6 / -2 / 1 How it flies: With a flat release, amid mild conditions, most players will find the Gorgon travels smoothly (300 to 350+) with an easy turn and a fade that’s present, but not overly so. In lighter weights, this disc could come in handy for beginners looking to tack on distance. Intermediate players will really benefit from this disc’s turning ease. For advance or power throwers, the Gorgon would likely be limited to specific turnover situations.

  9. Like the way the Innova Rollo flies? Lock it in for seemingly forever with the ultra durable Champion plastic. This understable midrange is a wonder at hyzer flips and rollers. How the Rollo disc feels: Slight rim with small bead at rim’s underside. It’s like a cross between a Stingray and a Wombat3. Dome can range from fairly flat to noticeable. Rollo Flight Numbers: 5 / 6 / -4 / 1 How the Rollo flies: The Rollo is a very understable large diameter mid range disc that’s designed to roll for most skill levels. Not only does this disc roll with ease, it excels at hyzer flips and as a late turning disc (Just apply ample hzyer and you’re golden). AM’s will love this disc not only for its rolling abilities, but also for its ability to get out of trouble when space is tight in the woods. Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. Great for: Teebox rollers, standstill rollers. Controlled mid shots Immediate hyzer flips Super easy backhand anhyzers How will I throw it?: Beginners will experience easy-going straight shots, especially in lower weights. However, Champion plastic will be challenging to roll for those with low power (Try DX or Star plastic first). In lighter to mid level weights, Intermediate players will have success with hyzer flips, anhyzers and medium length rollers. In heavier weights, Advanced players will find the Rollo useful for long rollers and late turning backhands. However, players with high arm speed will likely be too powerful for this disc, even in the more overstable Champion plastic.

The Jay follows the line you put it on no matter which way you release it.“If you like point and shoot and you don’t want to beat the snot out of your Roc3 to get it. Out of the box you got it right here,” said disc creator Dave Dunipace. How will I throw it? Thrown flat, intermediate disc golfers will experience a dependable, gentle fade after a significantly straight flight. Power throwers will experience similarly straight flights but with a mild turn midway through.Choose this disc: If you are trying to fill a certain hole in your bag between a Roc3 and Mako3 then the Jay is your bird.

Very versatile for most throws, especially for any must-hit-gap shot. The Difference of DX Mid’s: For mid range discs, many players start with DX plastic and never stop. Available in most other Innova plastics, expect for the Mako3’s already strong following to only get stronger now that it’s available in DX plastic. How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will see straight flights with a moderate fade at flight’s end.
