Gazelle Flight Numbers: 6 / 4 / 0 / 2 How the Gazelle flies: The Gazelle’s flight is stable to overstable and doesn’t require the brute force of beefier discs like the Banshee or Whippet. Moderate headwinds are in this go-to fairway driver's wheelhouse, too. Get the birdie party stared right with Kevin Jones’ Innova Luster Champion Max. This disc really knows how to lay a beat … down. How this batch of Luster Max feels: Minimal dome. Handy Luster grip. More about the player: Already a well known name on tour, Jones joined Team Innova midway through the 2024 season, bringing his podium experience and clutch play. Last year, he had a top five finish at the Ledgestone, but he’s probably best known for his 2020 DGPT Championship win. Off the course, he Rocs the house with his DJ skills (hence the stereo themed stamp). More about the disc: With a fade of 5 (the most for an Innova disc) and a minimal glide of 3, the Star Max is the closest you can come to throwing a PDGA approved cinder block. No matter how you throw it, it will fade a way to fade. Flight Numbers: 11 / 3 / 0 / 5

The Hawg is one of the slowest, beefiest putters on the market. Molded in our stiff but grippy XT plastic, this flat, flick-friendly disc is great for short, controlled drives and pinpoint approaches, even in the wind. Go Hawg Wild with the XT Hawg!

Grip like no other and super flexible, the Innova Soft Pro Toro is a delight to hold and throw. How it feels: A beadless and small diameter disc, the Toro, has the low profile and comfortable feel of a Rat. However, the rim of the Toro is much beefier. Most are pretty flat. Innova Toro Flight numbers:  4 / 2 / 1 / 3 How the Toro flies: The Toro was built to handle anything you put on it for short to medium length backhand or forehand shots. “Massive torque resistance,” is how Innova co-founder and disc inventor Dave Dunipace describes the Toro’s flight, which in layman’s terms means it’s an ox of a disc. Soft Pro plastic: This plastic is so flexy and gummy is Gumby is jealous (remember him?). Best in terms of grip for all Innova plastics, but among our least durable plastics. Ideal for cold and wet rounds. Grabs chains better too. The Toro is great for: Brute force medium length forehand and backhand drives and approaches. Headwind shots without a second thought. Slow-panning anhyzers. How will I throw it?: Beginners: We don’t recommend this disc for newer players. Intermediate players will see fairly straight mid length shots followed by heavy fade. They should stick to lighter weights unless they’ve already got a cannon for an arm. Advanced players have the green light to put everything they have on this disc and still count on a strong fade finish.
