- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.P- Putt & Approach2Speed1Glide0Turn3.5FadeThe Innova Champion Hawg, an overstable sausage-roll-of-an-approach-disc, likes to scream “Wee-Wee-Wee” all the way to the basket. **Limited Run of Out of Production Disc How the Hawg feels: Similar feel to a Pig, however the Hawg’s convex lower rim gives the rim a more rounded feel. Beaded rim bottom. Hawg Flight Numbers: 2 / 1 / 0 / 3.5 How the Hawg flies: Some wild pigs have got some speed. This Hawg does not. With only a 2 speed rating and barely any glide, all this porker wants to do is hit the hay (or a basket) for a rest. Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. Great for: Short range wind fighter Slow approach for power throwers Forehand dartsClose
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.D- Distance Driver10Speed6Glide-2Turn1FadeThe Innova Champion Gorgon achieves monster distance without the scary fade of other distance drivers. How the Gorgon feels: Easy to grip and release. Rim is thinner than other distance drivers and its underside is also flatter. All in all, it’s a distance driver in fairway driver clothing. Most have noticeable dome. Gorgon Flight numbers: 10 / 6 / -2 / 1 How it flies: With a flat release, amid mild conditions, most players will find the Gorgon travels smoothly (300 to 350+) with an easy turn and a fade that’s present, but not overly so. The disc facilitates any release angle including anhyzers that seem to sail forever. Great as a distance gainer for less powerful throwers. “It's similar to a speed 10 version of the Leopard3 or Hawkeye. Very controllable fairway driver like flight in a distance driver,” said Innova General Manager Kobyn Dunipace. Forehand: For those with moderate forehand power, the Gorgon will fit right in your bag with long, straight flights with modest turn. Those with noticeable power will find it flippy. Champion plastic: Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. The Gorgon is great for: When you want distance driver speed but not distance driver fade Throwing anhyzers that don’t fight against you Players that don’t like super wide rims Those needing a longer fairway driver Lengthy low ceiling shots How will I throw it? In lighter weights, this disc could come in handy for beginners looking to tack on distance. Intermediate players will really benefit from this disc’s turning ease. For advance or power throwers, the Gorgon would likely be a turnover driver, but slightly less flippy in Champ plastic.Close
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.P- Putt & Approach2Speed3Glide0Turn1FadeThe InnMold DX Aviar supplies the same trusted putt and approach flight the world has grown accustomed to, but now with a vibrant color design on top. How the Aviar feels: In the hand, the Aviar has a rounded, comfortable rim that leaves plenty of room for your fingers no matter which way you grip it. DX Aviar Flight numbers: 2 / 3 / 0 / 1 How it flies: When the Aviar is thrown at slow speed for putting, it holds the line you put it on with neutral stability. When utilized as a throwing putter the Aviar has surprising torque resistance. When it was released in 1984, it was the first disc designed specifically for putting! 40 years later, it’s still the disc the world turns to for sure-fire lines to the basket. DX Plastic: Its ample, all-weather grip and quick break-in time is incredibly tough to beat. Plus, it’s very affordable. When it comes to stability, it’s the least overstable of Innova plastics (which benefits beginners). InnMold uses a special process in which full color artwork is actually applied during the molding process instead of afterwards like other processes. InnMold allows for a smooth finish that is basically undetectable to the touch. Great for: Predictable Putts Approaches / Short tee shots 1 Disc roundsClose
- If you liked the in-your-face War Pig, you’ll snort with glee for the next in the series, the Champion War Toro. No bull, honest! **A Marm O. Set 2-Color Design How this batch of Champion Toro feels: Flat. Clean grip even with expansive stamp coverage. More about the stamp: A few years after the mega popular War Pig disc, we decided it was time for a sequel. However, instead of an extreme closeup of the beast’s head like Marm O. Set did with the War Pig, he zoomed out to reveal a hard charging action pose. It was a change Marm was glad to do because it allows him to create an actual illustration. “Given the opportunity, I tend to gravitate towards illustration (as opposed to the graphic oriented War Pig) because of its allegorical possibilities,” said Marm O. Set. “It’s hard to tell a story when all you see is a face.” More about the Toro disc: The Toro was built to handle anything you put on it for short to medium length backhand or forehand shots. “Massive torque resistance,” is how Innova co-founder and disc inventor Dave Dunipace describes the Toro’s flight, which in layman’s terms means it’s an ox of a disc. Champ Toro Flight Numbers: 4 / 2 / 1 / 3 Golden Nugget: Check out Marm O. Set’s typography for Toro. If you’re a Rock Hill resident the “RO” in Toro may look a little familiar because Marm O. Set fashioned it from the city’s logo as a shout out.Close
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.D- Distance Driver12Speed6Glide-1Turn2FadeThe Innova GStar Racer is the distance driver with mega speed and glide that flies like a broken in Destroyer. How the GStar Racer feels: Wider rim, similar in size to the Tern. Signature feature has to be the nose’s outer bead. Disc ranges from minimal to noticeable dome. GStar Racer Flight numbers: 12 / 6 / -1 / 2 How it flies: ‘Seasoned Destroyer’ is something you hear a bunch when it comes to the Racer. After a flat release, watch it speed down the fairway. But instead of it fading hard like a Destroyer, the Racer stays pretty straight, especially for average arms. Eventually the fade kicks in, but not before it’s sailed a long way. Another term you hear a lot with the Racer is glide. This disc just doesn’t want to come back to the ground. Forehand: Give it a shot. Flat release results in a modest turnover flight that finds fade at the end. A moderate hyzer release produces hzyer flip flight. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. Great choice for cold or wet weather rounds. Discs in GStar plastic are typically more understable than their Star our Champion cousins. The Racer is great for: When you want Destroyer performance, but without Destroyer beef. When you need that 10 extra feet of glide Predictable distance and fade Long hyzers How will I throw it? In lighter weights, beginners and intermediate players can see some real dividends, especially in the less overstable GStar plastic. Intermediates will experience straight, long flights. Advanced level players will be able to make the big ‘S’ flight and hzyer flips look routine, but may overpower it on occasion.Close
- % Stock Disc Promo: get 10% off all stock discs when you buy any combination of 3+.M- Midrange5Speed4Glide0Turn3FadeThe Innova Metal Flake Champion Roc3 makes your mid range throws dazzle, especially if you’re a power thrower looking for control. How the Roc3 disc feels: Built with a lower profile, the Roc3 has a fairly beefy rim for a mid range. Dome can range from flat to modest. Large diameter. Roc3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / 0 / 3 How the Roc3 flies: The Roc3 is an overstable mid range that’s a good call in just about any situation. It can hold your line even in headwinds and has enough fade to land where desired. Compared to the Roc, it has a touch more speed and overstability. Metal Flake Champion plastic is a part of Innova’s Champion plastic family, which is among Innova’s most durable and most overstable plastics. Along with that familiar see-through quality, Metal Flake Champion contains hundreds of tiny, sparkly metal flakes inside each disc. However, like other Champion plastics, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. Great for: Medium length drives with an overstable finish Forehand approaches Force flex backhands How will I throw it?: Beginner: We do not recommend this disc to newer players. Intermediate players will see good results in lighter weights or more understable plastics like DX. Advanced players will be able to throw full power and not be disappointed.Close
