How the RocX3 disc feels: It’s built with a low profile and sports the beefiest rim from a Roc related disc. Dome ranges from flat to noticeable. Large diameter. Bead on rim bottom. RocX3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / 0 / 3.5 How the RocX3 flies: Loaded up with torque resistance, the RocX3 is the ideal candidate for take-no-prisoner blasts backhand or forehand. Give it a whirl and you'll quickly see that it's the most overstable disc in the Roc family tree. Great for headwinds and when you need to harness power. The Ape can handle the raw, primal power of disc golfs biggest arms. Extremely fast and stable, the Ape is a "must have" distance driver for windy conditions and sharp doglegs. Sidearm drivers will learn the Ape is more than capable of standing up to even the most intense torque. The Ape is an outstanding choice for backhand or sidearm throws as well as a variety of niche flex shots. With less high speed turn than a Boss, the Ape is not recommended for players who throw less than 300ft.

Turn down the overstability of the Firebird a notch with the grippy and flexy Innova GStar Firebird. How it feels: The Firebird’s medium sized rim allows for a comfortable fit for any sized hand. Dome ranges from modest to noticeable. Firebird Flight numbers: 9 / 3 / 0 / 4 Flight Path: Thrown flat with enough power, the overstable Firebird will fly straight for short to medium length drives until its strong fade hooks it to the ground. Excellent control driver for those overpowering other drivers. *A sidearm dominant player approved disc. GStar plastic: GStar plastic provides the most grip and flexibility from a premium Innova plastic. Really shines in wet and cold weather. Not quite as durable as Star, Champion, or Halo, but not as overstable either. How will I throw it?: Beginners: We do not recommend this disc to newer players. Intermediate players should be able to handle a GStar Firebird, especially in a lighter weight. Advanced players will make the most of the disc and its array of uses, even for the occasional flex anhyzer.

Fairways don't seem so tight when you have the straight flying Innova Champion Mako3 – the incredibly useful mid range disc that’ll take over your bag. How the Mako3 disc feels: The Mako3’s thin rim makes grip and release natural for any sized hands. And, after only a few throws your body will instinctively reach for it. Dome can range from pretty flat to noticeable. Champion Mako3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 5 / 0 / 0 How the Mako3 flies: The Mako3 is a neutral flying large diameter mid range disc, and it is perhaps the easiest disc to fly straight from the get-go. It’s got excellent glide and minimal fade at flight’s end. For moderate conditions, especially in the woods, the Mako3 can easily be your most used disc for medium length drives and approaches. Very versatile, especially for any must-hit-gap shot. Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. Great for: Consistently straight medium length drives and approaches Immediate hyzer flips One-disc rounds. How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will see straight flights with a moderate fade at flight’s end. As they become more accustomed to the disc, they will experience an even straighter finish. Advanced players will see very straight flights from the start and as it ages it will become more and more of a turnover disc.
