How will I throw it?: Beginner to intermediate players will see straight flights with a moderate fade at flight’s end. As they become more accustomed to the disc, they will experience an even straighter finish. Advanced players will see moderate turn right off the bat. As it ages it will become an easy turnover disc.

The Innova Metal Flake Champion Roc3 makes your mid range throws dazzle, especially if you’re a power thrower looking for control. How the Roc3 disc feels: Built with a lower profile, the Roc3 has a fairly beefy rim for a mid range. Dome can range from flat to modest. Large diameter. Roc3 Flight Numbers: 5 / 4 / 0 / 3 How the Roc3 flies: The Roc3 is an overstable mid range that’s a good call in just about any situation. It can hold your line even in headwinds and has enough fade to land where desired. Compared to the Roc, it has a touch more speed and overstability. Metal Flake Champion plastic is a part of Innova’s Champion plastic family, which is among Innova’s most durable and most overstable plastics. Along with that familiar see-through quality, Metal Flake Champion contains hundreds of tiny, sparkly metal flakes inside each disc. However, like other Champion plastics, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. Advanced players will love the versatility of this disc while newer players can rely on the consistent finish. Champion plastic is among Innova’s most durable plastics. Expect years of use with little change in flight characteristics. However, it is also among Innova’s least grippy plastics. In terms of stability, Champion plastic is among Innova’s most overstable plastics. The Gator is a very reliable overstable Mid-Range disc with a predictable finish. The Gator delivers pin-point accuracy for shorter drives and approach shots, even in windy conditions. This is a great disc for Mid-Range shots especially for players who need to control their power and increase their accuracy.

The DX Destroyer is the easiest way to unlock the power of the world’s favorite distance driver. How it feels: Wide rimmed distance driver that feels as serious as it flies. Flight plate can range from fairly flat to a noticeable dome. DX Destroyer Flight numbers: 12 / 5 / -1 / 3 How the DX Destroyer flies: Boom goes the dynamite. The Destroyer is a very fast, very overstable distance driver meant for advanced players. Thrown with the proper amount of power, the Destroyer disc flies straight followed by a slight turn for incredible distance until its mighty fade brings it back to the ground. It has no problems with headwinds and once beat in, you can expect even greater distance. DX plastic: Provides good all-around, all-weather grip at a very affordable price. **If you haven’t thrown a Destroyer before, start with the DX edition first in a lighter weight.
