The Whippet X is a very over-stable driver used for medium long left hooking shots. It holds a line extremely well even when thrown into stiff headwinds. How it feels: Slender fairway style rim. Easy to grip and release. Most have at least a modest amount of dome. Star Roadrunner Flight numbers: 9 / 5 / -4 / 1 How the Roadrunner flies: The Roadrunner is a very understable fairway driver. It produces a reliable straight or hyzer flip flight for those with less power or an easy-to-throw anhyzer or roller for those with bigger arms. Simply put, the Roadrunner disc does more with less than any other disc on the planet. Most have a noticeable amount dome. Feels closer to a fairway driver than a distance driver. Sidewinder Flight Numbers: 9 / 5 / -3 / 1 How the Innova Sidewinder flies: The Sidewinder is an understable distance driver that specializes in long, straight flights for lower powered players. At a speed of 9, it’s among the slowest of the distance drivers. However, its manageable speed combined with its understable flight enable straight shots to stick to the fairway more than other distance drivers. If a Savant or Valkyrie has too much bite for you, then slither on up to the Sidewinder. Use the Halo Sidewinder for: Straight 300+ drives with modest turn Force flex anhyzers that only need a bit of force Power Roller when seasoned Forehand anhyzers How will I throw it?: Beginners: In lighter weights, the Halo Sidewinder will be a straight-ish flyer with noticeable fade at first, less as it ages. Intermediate players will see a modest turn in lighter to medium weights resulting in long, straight throws. Advanced players will easily be able to perform long anhyzers and hyzer flips in heavier weights, and eventually long range rollers.
