Thrower Rocs are different from the Collector Series Rocs. Each year, a small number of Rocs do not get used for Collector Series releases. Generally, this is due to minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the disc's performance or because we simply had extra discs leftover after all collector series Rocs were produced and sold. These discs vary in age and appearance, adding to their mystique, collectability, and appeal. We refer to them simply as “Throwers”.
Roc Mold: Those Rocs are the original “Rancho” mold, which is reserved exclusively for the USDGC.
The Stamp: This Thrower Roc design incorporates the wings of the famous Roc bird and shapes them into a Ying-Yang type look. With the USDGC’s Road to the Championship logo, the smooth artwork got the immediate green light.
What's more: Each disc is individually bagged and includes an informational card. The USDGC will received all of the proceeds from the sale of this disc. Thank you for your support.
